Recursive Mondrian

Team: Jason Lipshin

Short Description: Recursive Mondrian is a playful, interactive art project which uses the programming concept of recursion to generate visual patterns inspired by the modernist painter, Piet Mondrian. Although the colors are picked randomly from Mondrian’s simple palette, the musical patterns composed directly relate to the number of squares-within-squares generated by the user.
