MIT Mobile Experience Lab

LAB DESCRIPTION

The MIT Mobile Experience Lab designs experiences that connect people, information, and places in meaningful ways. Focusing primarily on interaction design for mobile and ubiquitous computing, the lab is currently directed by Federico Casalegno and was formerly co-directed by William J. Mitchell.

ROLES

  • Worked in interdisciplinary teams to create concepts for high profile clients including Marriott Hotels, the Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority, and RAI, Italy’s National Broadcasting Company.
  • Led a team of MIT undergraduates on the three month long RAI project.
  • Performed many interaction design tasks including ethnographic research, user experience, wireframing, diagramming, and prototyping apps (using non-programming platforms).
  • Wrote conference proposals, publications, and reports related to these projects.
