MovieTagger
- Worked in concert with the software company, Related Content Database and USC’s Interactive Media Department to conceptualize and test MovieTagger, an innovative software project for visualizing how different communities of scholars tag films.
- Researched how methodologies like neoformalism and cultural studies could be translated into metadata schemas for richly tagging multiple films, scene-by-scene.
- Experimented with the affordances of various data visualization methods.
- Presented research findings on multiple occasions to both academic and industry audiences.
